I’m lucky in that I don’t have to wear suits to work. If I did, I’m sure a bright pink suit wouldn’t be considered appropriate. But even though I don’t have to suit up for work, I still love the style. I wear blazers all the time with jeans. When I saw this pink suit, I knew it was a little over the top, but I couldn’t resist. I’m a big fan of the color pink and wear a lot of it. It’s a flattering color. I also love the cut and quality in this suit by Topshop (one of my current favorite brands). It’s bold but still looks nice (not cheap). That’s why this suit can be pulled off. It looks so nice.
I found this Topshop suit at Nordstrom a couple months ago. It quickly sold out in their stores. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything currently out that’s similar. That’s one of the reasons I was so drawn to it… it’s really unique. I would definitely recommend Topshop as a great source for suits especially if you’re looking for something with a bit of an alternative edge. This suit is cut well, made with high quality fabrics, and fits perfectly. Keep an eye on their website and at Nordstrom.
I paired it with a lightweight gray Topshop sweater, block heels from my favorite local shoe shop Gild, and a black ring purse. For an even edgier look, it would be super cute with a band tee and white sneakers. For a more toned down look, the bright blazer can be worn with the same lightweight grey sweater, dark skinny jeans, and booties. The pants could be worn without the matching jacket with a simple black top and black heels or flats.
